I didn't know that: "Well, this fruit is known for it’s strange powers which can cure Alzheimer’s disease."

I am guessing that is a bit of an overstatement though, that it can cure Alzheimer's ....

Hi Joe, I attend the University of North Texas in Denton and we recently watched clips of HBO's "The Alzheimer's Project" and that is where I was introduced to you. I admire and appreciate your dedication to this blog. my great grandfather suffered from Alzheimer's as well, so I am pretty familiar with it. I haven't been keeping up with the latest research and news in the Alzheimer's realm but your blog is definitely providing me with a lot of that information! I just wanted to share with you something interesting I learned this weekend as I volunteered for a program originally established to help those suffering from autism, SpiritHorse--which uses horses/horse riding as therapeutic tools to create new neural pathways in the ill-working brain. The founder of the organization said he was going to begin including Alzheimer's patients in his research, since it has already been shown to be successful for those with Autism as well as Parkinson's. I know that there are about 87 SpiritHorse centers nation-wide and perhaps if one is nearby (and if you even like horses) perhaps you could look into it? Anyway, it is a pleasure reading your blog. I joined this Google thing just to follow you. God Bless you and your family.
