Joe,

Hope this finds you hanging in there the best that you can.

Thank you posting these links... it helps me out in my classroom. Gives me new information to teach my students. In fact, all of your posts help me with my students in attempting to have them understand what it is like for the person who suffers from this nasty disease.

Thank you again for giving us all an insight to what you and your family are going thru!!

Very interesting reading...I have my 79 and 83 year old in-laws living with me. Both have dementia, I thank God that I don't have to deal with some of the heartbreaks that I have read about. But it is difficult on a daily basis and I assume it will only get worse.

My poor husband is having a very difficult time seeing his father become a child. His mother is such a nervous nelly that she runs around like a chicken without a head. She is so afraid of doing the wrong thing that she seems to make it worse for herself. She gets angry with her husband when he forgets things and people.
They have been with us 3 years now and we both wonder how much more we can take. They are both very healthy and we find ourselves resending the fact that they could live another 5 or 10 years.

Thank you for listening.
