Hello From Petaluma!

We are here in Petaluma. That is between San Fran and Santa Rosa. Wheather has been ok.

Our Daughter Morgan is doing fine and grandson Lucas is progressing well. He is breathing totally on his own and is now eating. So tense times are lessening. We will be here another week or so. I really wish I was home, that is safe haven for me. Plus I have some idea wherre I am there.

Other three grandkids driving me a little batty, have hard time dealing with them and their energy, trying to keeep things straight is not easy, oh well.

Will keep you updated as I reemember.

God Bless You & This Country of Ours!

Hey Joe and Lynn...

Im so happy that it looks like a happy outcome for all of you with this new grandbaby..Congratulations!

Have you ever been to Petaluma before? We live just a stones throw west in the little town of Guerneville. Mom(Arlene) lived in Santa Rosa. Hope you all get to see some of the area, so many neat things to see. We think it's pretty special anyway...its been called "God's Country" by many folks.

Best and warmest regards to all of you, Cheryl

Hi Joe and Lynn,
Long time reader of your blog.
Glad that Lucas is doing so well!
Congrats on being grandparents again.

I started a blog about my Mom, havent updated it very recently.
Not sure I like the title of it, but don't feel like re-doing the whole thing.

Add it to your blog list if you want!
I like your blog and your political views.

June in PA (we are about to get another major snowstorm, so you got mega rain, here it's being called a paralyzing storm).

Hi Joe...good news about your new grandson for sure. I totally understand about wanting to be back in your 'safe haven'. You need to do what I do...find a quiet room, and just stay there! (hopefully with a computer!)
Hugs and best wishes to the new family!

Hi Joe.
My name is Felipe, I'm a 17 years old boy from Chile, a country from South America. Last night I watched the documentary "The Alzheimer's Project" and it really touched me. I didn't know how mucho ago it was filmed or anything, so I started to research a little and I found your blog. I really like how you write and let all those thoughts free, and I think I'll be reading your entries now and then.
Hope you're having a great time there at Petaluma.

Hi Joe,

Congratulations on your new grandson. Glad to here that your daughter is doing well and Lucus is getting on track - a sign of strength on his part.

I know that the kids can be tiring sometimes even when we are in the best of health. Take one thing at a time and follow Mary's suggestion of giving yourself a brain break when you need it.

Take care and God bless to you and your family.
